Rocky's Football Corner, 9.12.2007

(This week, no commentary, just predictions. With a week like last week, the predictions speak for themselves. The column portion of the weekly look at the National Football League will be an irregular feature this season.)

All Hail Rocky. Thirteen hits? Dude, the most ANYBODY got on the CBS Sportsline contest last week was 14, and there were only about four or five of those. The thirteen-game pickers were fewer than a dozen. And there are tens of thousands of people picking in that contest. That's a fantastic start and you really need to recognize how rare an event that is for most prognosticators.

Big ups.

Thanks for the high praise. Oh, I do know how special this is because I don't think I had a 13 pick week all of last year. And as you have said elsewhere, picking on the first week is a shot in the dark sometimes.

So now we need to check out this contest, perhaps. (And as that is said... all the luck turns around.)
