iVoryTowerz Radio & Radio Nowhere

This week's podcast starts with Bruce Springsteen's new single and then, as usual, cruises through about 40 years of music history. Springsteen's "Radio Nowhere" is a commentary about the state of American radio and also the nation, and unfortunately not many radio stations are playing it yet. So give a listen on the underground podcast. And along the way you might also hear some outlaw country, some alternative rock, and some psychedelia for good measure. Set the volume at 11.

How about some late 70s "granola rock"? :)

I agree with the Boss, there isnt too much to look forward to in radio these days. However, if ya'll never heard of Lone Star 92.5 out of Dallas, ya'll need to check it out at http://www.lonestar925.com, they are the best right now in Outlaw Country, Alternative Country, and Classic Rock. I work those fellas so I can promise you, you wont find a better Country station!

Even though in these modern times it is possible to listen to radio stations from afar... I will defer to the Dallas half of the dynamic air duo to comment about Lone Star 92.5... at least until I can personally check it out.

As for those shouts for granola rock... I'd predict a dash of that coming up on the next program.
